Supported gets fixes and is more than 90 days from its EOL date. EOL soon reaches end of life within 90 days. End of life gets no more security fixes.

How Laravel support works

Laravel releases one major version a year, usually in the first quarter. Each version gets bug fixes for 18 months and security fixes for two years. Minor and patch releases come out every week and do not need an upgrade project.

Because a new major ships every year, an app that is not upgraded for two years is already on an unsupported version. Each major also raises the minimum PHP version, so Laravel and PHP upgrades have to be planned together.

The table shows every Laravel version with its release date, latest version, end of bug fixes and end of security fixes.

The project's own policy: https://laravel.com/docs/releases#support-policy

Laravel EOL questions

Which Laravel versions are still supported?

As of 5 Nov 2026: Laravel 13 (until 17 Mar 2028), Laravel 12 (until 24 Feb 2027).

When is the next Laravel end of life?

Laravel 12 reaches its end of life on 24 Feb 2027 (in 111 days). After that date it gets no more security fixes.

How do I check which Laravel version I run?

Run php artisan --version. Check every server and container image, not only your laptop: production often runs an older version than development.

How long is a Laravel version supported?

18 months of bug fixes and two years of security fixes from its release.

Does Laravel have LTS versions?

Not any more. Earlier versions such as 6.x had LTS status; today every major version gets the same support period.
